Secretary: Josh Herzog
Josh Herzig worked in the world of Big Insurance and have spent all of that time educating folks on specific and seemingly intricate insurance products and programs. His unique skill set enables him to educate case managers on how best to prepare and educate their patients on the Medicaid that is most applicable to them. He joined CMSALI in 2020 for the purpose of bettering his relationships with case managers and he feel strongly that he has an obligation to be part of an organization that helps case managers. Just like case managers enable him to help the people of NY learn more about Medicaid so he would like to be part of the apparatus that helps case managers better themselves. He is currently serving as the Secretary of the CMSA Long Island Chapter and would like to continue to serve the membership.
Director: Daria Gentile
Daria’s past professional background has been in positions centered around sales management and support, team leadership and training, and business development within a variety of industries. She is most proud of her current role in Seniorcare and Senior Healthcare as Relationship Manager with Emics Elder Care because it allowed for her to make a difference in her community while working with like- minded colleagues who lead with their hearts and goes above and beyond for the families they serve. She has served as a Co-Chair of the Long Island Chapter for NAIPC. She is also a member of the GPNY and SUN- Senior Umbrella Network, and for the past two years, a member of the CMSA Long Island Chapter. She truly enjoys being part of these key organizations that serves and support the senior population. According to her, “it’s the most rewarding work I have done in my life alongside of being a mom”.
